Who is Bump Diamond?
He's elusive, everyone knows that much. And we found one of his Vons lists recently. It had rice noodles, pad thai sauce, miso soup, bagged salad and Mammoth Brewing Co.'s Double Nut Brown.

Snowcreek IV Homeowners In A Tizzy

August 19, 2005

The Snowcreek IV Homeowners Association is up in arms over the loss of mountain views caused by new construction by Mammoth Lakes Housing, Inc. along Old Mammoth Road, according to a complaint filed with the Town.
Andrea Clark, the director of Mammoth Lakes Housing (MLH), says the specs on the construction project along Old Mammoth Rd. were always in the open, that the homeowners had plenty of public notice and opportunities for feedback, but failed to take action until construction actually began this summer.
With the two sides at an impasse, the Town Council today announced a special meeting for next Wednesday, August 24, to hash out the increasingly bitter issue in a public hearing. The condo owners are represented by Timothy Sanford of Mammoth.
At the heart of the matter is that four to eight Snowcreek IV condos will lose their views of the Sherwins—a fact that Clark acknowledged in a telephone interview today.
She denied that MLH misled the homeowners, however, and said a letter to the homeowners is included in the agenda packet for the meeting.
Neither the agenda nor the packet were posted on the Town Web site as of Friday mid-morning.
