Waitin’ In Line at Roberto’s
June 18, 2005

Man About Town
It is no longer possible to make left turns while blindfolded around here, and the line at Roberto's is getting longer all the time.
Apparently spurred on by the Mammoth Motocross, coupled with the 33rd anniversary of the Watergate break-in (yesterday), the EL-Alians have returned to our little burg. What that means is that us locals have to watch where we is going, and we might wanna consider eating in.
(What Watergate has to do with this, I don’t know, exactly, but it seems worthwhile noting, and here's to John Dean, hey?)
Laurie Medov of the town’s Tourism and Recreation Department, released the following occupancy numbers for the week:
Friday night 6/17/05 - Saturday night 6/18 /05 = 42%
Sunday night 6/19/05 - Thursday night 6/23/05 = 41%
That’s good for this time of year around here, and never mind the 40-degree temps, a forecast of intermittent snow at high elevations (see left-hand navbar at left) and generally Moscow-type weather.
