Rain, possible thunderstorms and snow figure to hit Mammoth and the Eastern Sierra, beginning this afternoon, Oct. 29, and continuing through Tuesday, the National Weather Service said Monday.
Accumulations are expected to be light, forecasters said.
The Weather Service said some thunder is also possible with the storm, which is a result of a low pressure system moving onshore from the California coast. The chance of precipitation for Monday was set at 60 percent. Rain or snow was set at 40 percent for Monday night.
Tuesday's chances of rain or snow were set at 30 percent.
