According to figures released by Mammoth's Visitors Bureau, the hotel, condo and lodge occupancy rate projection shows just 14 percent of the available beds will be filled on the weekend of Nov. 30, with the occupancy rate dropping to just nine percent during the weekdays following.
Of course, a little snow might help.
It's not coming to town, either.
According to the National Weather Service in Reno, the forecast calls for mostly sunny skies and comfortable, above-normal temperatures well into next week.
The full forecast is as follows:
Thursday Afternoon: Mostly sunny, with a high near 54. Calm wind becoming southwest around 5 mph.
Thursday Night: Partly cloudy, with a low around 17. West wind between 5 and 15 mph.
Friday: Mostly sunny, with a high near 40. West wind around 10 mph.
Friday Night: Partly cloudy, with a low around 18. West wind between 5 and 10 mph.
Saturday: Mostly sunny, with a high near 31. West wind between 5 and 15 mph.
Saturday Night: Partly cloudy, with a low around 15. West wind between 10 and 15 mph becoming calm.
Sunday: Mostly sunny, with a high near 43. Calm wind becoming south around 5 mph.
Sunday Night: Partly cloudy, with a low around 20.
Monday: Mostly sunny, with a high near 55.
Monday Night: Partly cloudy, with a low around 26.
Tuesday: Mostly sunny, with a high near 55.
Tuesday Night: Partly cloudy, with a low around 23.
Wednesday: Mostly sunny, with a high near 52.
