Another longtime locals' favorite, Whiskey Creek took the brunt of the Intrawest invasion, up-graded, remodeled, and ultimately came out better for it. A great night at Whiskey starts out with a sampler of its own Mammoth Brewing Company beers, followed by an artichoke-spinach dip appetizer. Next, locals usually choose from a selection of savory steaks, the bacon-wrapped meatloaf or the artichoke cannelloni. Save room, though, because no Whiskey experience is complete without sharing one of their large-portion deserts. Cream brulee and tiramisu are good, but the Cookie Monster, in all its chocolate glory, steals the show. Whiskey is centrally located and wildly popular, so make reservations or head in early and have some drinks at the bar before dining.
