The Yodler, located between Main Lodge and The Mammoth Mountain Inn, is easily recognizable because of its charming Swiss exterior. In fact, it is the only restaurant in town that can legitimately claim its European authenticity. The structure was manufactured in Switzerland in the 1950s', and shipped to Mammoth where it was constructed in 1954. The food though, is not so European, with typical American bar standards like hamburgers, sandwiches, pizzas and salads. Après ski action is hot here on busy weekends, as tourists and ski area employees alike frequent the huge sundeck and loaded bar while waiting for town-bound traffic to clear out. The local, national and international beers flow like you wouldn't believe, and nachos, French fries and spicy wings are served fast and hot.
