The Pita Pit is just what Mammoth needed: a cheap, yummy, late-night gyro joint. Open until 2 a.m., a seasoned lamb gyro, or a vegetarian falafel is just the ticket after a late night at Lakanuki or Dublin's. Other selections, such as a deli-style turkey or chicken Caesar pita will fuel you up for a big day of skiing, or hit the spot afterwards. As an added bonus, nothing on the menu exceeds $6. The veggie lovers in the group are also well taken care of, with seven different choices of vegetarian pitas and five different salads. Come in your Saturday night party threads or your ski gear, you will feel at home.
