Longtime local Mike Coco went to Thailand, learned how to cook, and came back to start Mammoth's original Thai food joint. In its first years in existence, it is proving to be a easy, healthy and tasty locals' favorite. Thai standards like Pad Thai and basil noodle are done right, as are the selection of curries and stir frys. The Satay salad is a great alternative to the spicy entrees, and the tsunami of flavors in the Tom Kai Gai coconut soup is an excellent complement to any meal. The food is competitively priced and can be delivered for a $3 charge. If Mammoth's standard Sierra BBQ fare doesn't appeal, Thai'd Up! could be just what the doctor ordered.
