Hands down, Roberto's is one of Mammoth's favorite places. With huge portions of cheesy favorites from South of the Border and a large, upstairs bar serving up tasty margaritas and original creations, this is, unfortunately, no secret. To cope with outlandish waiting times, Roberto's recently added a second story bar to facilitate the waiting, and offers excellent bar food as well, if the wait for the restaurant doesn't fit into your schedule. Everything on the menu is good, but my own favorites include the chicken flauta or cheese enchilada combination plates with rice and beans. Other standouts are the Juanita's salad and the excellent home made flour tortillas. Upstairs, the bar has delectable snacks like duck quesadillas, lobster taquitos and a huge selection of margaritas. Roberto's is no exception to typically high Mammoth dining prices, but is well worth the wait and money.
