Not just your typical bagel house, the Old New York is a great stop for pancakes, omelets, breakfast burritos and a variety of lunch sandwiches. But the bagels are the specialty. With over 21 types of bagels and wide varieties of toppings, this is a good spot for a quick, lighter breakfast on the way up to the Mountain. While winter weekend mornings bring traffic and crowds, stopping in first thing is probably the best bet here. Some bagel highlights are banana nut, sun dried tomato, honey oat raisin or chocolate chip, served with a variety of cream cheeses including jalapeno cheddar, honey walnut or lox. The price tag that comes with such variety may be daunting, but quality and quantity have their price. They also have free WiFi for laptop owners.
