This Asian/Hawaiian-influenced restaurant has seen a few ownership changes in recent years, and unfortunately the food has come out on the short end of the deal. The modest prices and inventive cuisine made it a Mammoth staple ten years ago, and with some luck will return to its former grandeur. With pineapple laced chicken and beef teriyaki plates, and Island-flavor infused teriyaki-spare ribs, we can only hope that it will. The Chinese chicken salad has always been a mainstay here, and could be another good option. There was also a full bar, which has since disappeared, but the sake and beers are still good as ever and the box dinners, served with cole slaw and rice, work well in family settings. Check out Matsu for a fresh look at typical Chinese fare.
