Mono and Inyo County locals who have never attended the Millpond Music Festival on Friday, Sept. 7, can purchase a weekend pass for the discounted price of $40, festival organizers said.
"We can't believe that there are actually still residents in the Eastern Sierra who have not tried it, but you know who you are and we've added new incentive for you to come and give it a try," the Inyo Council for the Arts said in an e-mail that was widely distributed.
Resident adults will pay $65 through Saturday, Sept. 8 for a weekend ticket, and $75 after that.
The fesitval is Sept. 14-16 in Bishop.
