Las Vegas-to-Mammoth Air Service
America West would be the carrier

Pretty Funny … Lookin’

You can call me a liar all you want, and right you are, too.
I’ve spun some honkers, but this is the straight-arrow truth:
Mammoth will have commercial air service next ski season, but it won’t be based out of L.A. Chicago, Dallas or any of the other usual suspects.
It's better, at least for all you slotters and ramblin' gamblers.
It’s gonna be America West Airlines, tossing in once-a-day planes to Mammoth from Vegas, baby. Go ahead and call the Mammoth Mountain marketing department, the town offices, whoever you want.
Nobody’s gonna deny this one, even though nobody'll really confirm it, either. And granted, it seems a little bit like a Judy Special, if you know what I mean (and I know you do).
Naturally you want to know how I know all this.
Spiffy wants to know, that’s for sure.
“Hey what the!?” she sez to me, right after I said I hadda go post this newsy news to the blog.
Spiffy, bless her heart, sticks her chin out when she’s actin’ indignant. I love her so.
So here I am, postin’ what I know to be the truth insofar as today is concerned. I’m going to deal with Spiffy a little later on. And I'll deal with tomorrow later on, too. Tomorrow, prolly.
It’ll be all right, really. News always rests on a Saturday night.
    Cool yarn, huh?
